Chef Rebecca Maywald was inspired by the Tiles Projects 2021 Collection in her dislike of working in cold stainless steel kitchens. She wanted to create a collection that was warm and personal, while paying homage to some of the international foods she loved. “The cobalt blue is timeless and reminds me of the wonderful old and medieval kitchens of Sardinia, the Loire Valley and Greece,” says Maywald. “I love the idea of customers customizing for themselves, for their kitchens, after all, if you want to make beautiful food, you have to create it in an inspiring and joyful space.”
